Isaac Li

Isaac is a multifaceted theatre artist born and raised in the land of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. As an actor, he has worked with theatre companies throughout Vancouver, including Green Thumb Theatre, United Players, Axis Theatre, Promethean Theatre, and his alma mater Studio 58. As a director, he aims to propagate a creation process that prioritizes collaboration and play. Favourite directing credits include King Lear; and Saint Joan for Promethean, and Chicken Wings & Jell-O Shots for Studio 58. When he isn’t in production for a show, he can often be found at his side job Hamuhk The Hang Out Place on Granville Island, or on his gravel bike exploring BC.
